The snowmobile snowboard rack that is tested and approved by professional snowboarders Travis Rice, Mark Carter, Mark Landvik and Annie Boulanger. The CFR Snowboard Bracket Kit will keep your snowboard out of the way while snowmobiling. You will forget that you have your snowboard with you breaking trail to the top of your favorite snowboard line or jump spot. This package contains parts and hardware to carry one snowboard on The D or Double D rack. Another snowboard bracket kit can be purchased to carry up to two snowboards on The D or Double D rack. A CFR Dual Ski bracket Kit can be used to carry a pair of skis on Double D rack. Light weight Nylon parts are infused with resin that makes them extremely strong and can handle -100 degree cold temps. Injected molded straps that can withstand down to -100 degree cold temps but will break in severe roll overs to prevent damage.

THE TEST:

Twelve years of testing has led us here, to the largest and most trusted board test in snowboarding. The 2011 Good Wood results present the top performing boards for both park and all-mountain versatility, split into two price categories for men and women. The Good Wood testing process began with 450 snowboards, and throughout the rigors of the week, these winners led the way, resulting in a stack of 40 tried-and-true “best” boards. With these results as your guide, you can easily sift through the mass of snowboards and find the perfect one for you.

THE METHOD:

Our test crew of eighteen riders took to the slopes of Breckenridge, colorado, for a full week of heavy slashing, jumping, jibbing, and overall shredding of the Peak 8 terrain parks and local freeride runs. Within that weeklong window of testing, they rode ice, hardpack, slush, and even a little pow. Boards were scored on fifteen criteria through it all, including high-speed stability, pop, flex, basic carving, and more.

Who are these testers? Full disclosure on who all the testers are, where they ride, how they ride, what board they normally ride, their stances, their height, and a list of each testers top three favorite winning boards from the test—this might help you narrow down your selection.”

Feel the positivity underfoot. The ash-wood core and carbon-reinforced topsheet make this directional board sturdy, but still poppy. The “CamRock” shape offers camber control underfoot, with raised, rockered tips to charge out of chop, pow, and even jibs. With a 40-percent recycled materials base and sustainably sourced wood core, things are looking green, too.

This repeat Good Wood winner is making a name for itself in the test with an easy-to-ride park shape. It has a forgiving, two-way fiberglass weave with a urethane topsheet to reduce chatter and provide a consistent flex. The lightweight poplar core is thinned out at the tip and tail for easy presses, butters and jibs, but that doesn’t make it damp-the board’s got pop.
